The Museum of Science and History will be holding it's annual Valentines event just as the moon begins it new phase - a new moon. The stars will be at their brightest in the darkness. From First Coast News (http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/local/news-article.aspx?storyid=15049...):
To help make the night special, the Museum of Science and History is presenting Bella Luna: Dessert Under the Stars, its annual Valentine's event.
From 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13, MOSH invites couples -- and no children -- to their roof.
For $35, couples get complete museum access, including a planetarium show.
The evening will also feature chocolate fondue, cider, coffee and one complimentary glass of wine or beer.
The roof, where a 20-inch telescope will be available, will be open.
You will need to make a reservation to attend, and it can be done online or by calling 396-MOSH, ext. 240.
